Family cooking

We, seven of us including small children, will be on Crete for four days in two weeks. We have tried to find a fun cooking class that would be casual and include small children. We will be in Spilia Village and we will have a car. What might be ideal is a grandmother who would enjoy sharing a simple recipe, perhaps in her home.
Any ideas?
